TURN THE TOWNS TEAL® is a federally registered trademark which identifies Turn The Towns Teal, Inc. as the source of the TURN THE TOWNS TEAL® campaign and the charitable services directed at promoting awareness of ovarian cancer, its symptoms and risk factors as well as the fundraising services for ovarian cancer research. The TURN THE TOWNS TEAL® trademark is an important asset and Turn The Towns Teal, Inc. has a duty to police and protect its rights with respect to the TURN THE TOWNS TEAL® trademark.

Turn The Towns Teal, Inc. supports and respects the important efforts of any and all unaffiliated third parties who are spreading awareness regarding ovarian cancer. However, use by unaffiliated third parties of any trademark, slogan and/or campaign and/or event name that is similar to TURN THE TOWNS TEAL® invariably creates the impression in the mind of the public that such third party and/or its campaign and/or event is sponsored by Turn The Towns Teal, Inc. or is otherwise associated, connected and/or affiliated with Turn The Towns Teal, Inc.

Turn The Towns Teal, Inc. therefore respectfully requests that unaffiliated third parties refrain from using any trademark, slogan and/or campaign and/or event name which is confusingly similar to the TURN THE TOWNS TEAL® trademark. Specifically, use of a trademark, slogan and/or name that contains a combination of the words “TURN” & “TEAL”, “TURN” & “TOWN(S)” and/or “TOWN(S)” & “TEAL” would confuse the public and therefore violate Turn The Towns Teal, Inc.’s trademark rights.

Turn The Towns Teal, Inc. authorizes registered volunteers to use the TURN THE TOWNS TEAL® trademark and other campaign materials pursuant to specific campaign guidelines.
